The Portsmouth Coastal Waterside Marathon is now full and no more entries are being taken.

Full details for next year will be available on the website a couple of weeks after the event on the 18th december.

Watch out for and olympic special price for those early bird entries.

Online entry for the marathon is now shut shut.

We are now only accepting postal entries with correct cheque payment of £24 payable to believe and achieve and a C5 stamped addressed envelope.

Places will be 1st come 1st served for the remaining places.

Sunday will soon be with us and record numbers are already signed up and ready to run.

For those who are planning on entering on the day please arrive early as we will shut entries at 10.15am. You can enter from 8.45am onwards. please bring the correct money or cheques payable to believe and achieve.

Chip timing chips are to be collected on the day, please show your number to pick up your chip from race HQ just inside the lifeboat station. remember to return your chip at the end otherwise we get charged for this.

Portsmouth Coastal Waterside Marathon Hits over 400 entries

December 18th is going to be a busy day around the coastline of portsmouth langstone harbour.

The 2nd Portsmouth Coastal Waterside Marathon in aid of the RNLI has now gone over 400 entries and with just over 3 months still to go we expect the sold out signs to go up before the race day.

The Portsmouth RNLI 10k on 9th of october has now gone over 200 runners and looking like being an all time record number of entries,

All race details and number will be sent out to Runners from the 19th sept 2011.

But still time to get those last minute entries in, or if you fancy an extra 2 miles why not try the Southsea pirates pieces of Eight. This is run along side the 10k race, or you can upgrade on the day.

The Portsmouth RNLI 10k on 9th October 2011 has now got 100 runners.

The Southsea Pirates Pieces of Eight though are looking for more hardy souls to step on board and run the extra 2 miles.

Pirates have been seen around the lifeboat station looking for possible runners ( will you be one? ) there be treasure in that chest you know.

Come and join us at the Portsmouth RNLI open day on Sunday August 14th from 11am till 3pm. Enter any of our events in person on the day and get yourself a fantastic goodie bag thrown in.

Southsea Pirates Pieces of Eight race route

Just a quick update here to say that we have now added the Pieces of Eight race route to the official page.

This is the first year that we are running this race, in conjuction with the Southsea Pirates running club and once again raising good money for charity.

As of today the portsmouth Coastal Waterside Marathon on the 18th of December 2011 as just gone over the 260 runners entered.

And we are also pleased to announce the ongoing support of Clif Bar who will be at the event with some tasty treats for you all and also one in each goodie bag at the end.

This evening i have been busy getting the new justgiving page ready for donations as we aim to reach a target of £10,000 for this years up and coming events.

These will be the ones i organise and also a couple of challenges that i will undertake as well, to include treking the atlas mountains in moroco and running the Amsterdam Half Marathon.

Also this weekend i will be pitting my wits against the TopGear track in the Dunsfold Duathlon. 4.5k run 15k bike 4.5k run
